In the past  33 years  Muslim  Welfare  Association  is doing excellent service in the field of Social, Educational, Cultural, and Charitable Service of Kannur. Thajul  Uloom  Carehome is the first step of this Institution. Our Institution was started in  1983  March 11 by the Social  Welfare Department. This  Institution was  inaugurated by the  Late  Sayed Ullalam Kunhikoya Thangal  adopting 5 fully orphans. Now  here  there  are  20 boys and  25 girls  are adopted and educated by us.  All  their  food, clothes, education, medical treatment and all other things are earned by this institution.

Our institution has got ‘A’ Grade by the Social Welfare Department of Kannur.In addition to Care Home there is a Madrasa, free medical Centre and Charitable Relief works conducted by this institution.
